Don't get a r1250gs as a first bike, get a sv650. Im 6 ft 190 LB and I find my r1200gs 2018 model heavy at times. Also a smaller bike to start with will make you a better rider, a bike like a GS will cover up your flaws as a rider. Also 100 percent you will drop it.
